JOHN JOSEPH TRAVOLTA

John joseph Travolta was born on February 18^th1954 in Englewood, New Jersey, an inner ring suburb of New York City. His father Salvatore Travolta (November 1912-May 1995) was a semiprofessional American football player, his mother Helen Cecilia (January 1912 – December 1978) was an actress and a singer.

He was raised Roman Catholic, but converted in scientology in 1975. Travolta is an actor, dancer, and singer, after attending high school, Travolta moved across the Hudson River to N.Y. and landed a role in a touring company of the musical grease. Travolta’s first California film role was a fall victim in: Emergency! In September 1972, but his first s significant movie was a Billie Nolan.

Travolta played Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino’s film “pulp fiction” in 1994 for which he receives an academy award nomination, other notable roles were get shorty in 1995, face off in 1997, primary colors in 1998 and the general’s daughter in 1999.

Travolta was in a relationship whit actress Diana Hyland whom he met while they were filming: The boy in the plastic bubble. After that she died.

Travolta married whit actress Kelly Preston in 1991. The couple have three sons, jet (1992-2002), Ella blew and Benjamin. On January second 2009 Travolta and Preston’s son died while on their vacations, the cause of the death was attributing to a seizure.
